LinkedIn About Section Generator

The About section is the longest indexed block of text on your profile and the one most people leave as three vague sentences. Paste what you have — or a couple of rough lines — and get it back written around the role you're targeting.

  • Bracketed placeholders where you should drop your own numbers

Free, unlimited, no signup and no card. We never ask for your LinkedIn password.

Next step — your own full rewrite, $1

This is one About section. Grounded is the paid part.

The free version is written from your role, so it stays general. The $1 rewrite builds the complete About section around three facts you supply — your tools, one real number, your employer or team size — then rewords your top 3 experience bullets and gives you your headline and your 0–100 score. Anything you don't tell us stays a visible blank rather than an invented detail.

  • +Your complete About section — around 200 words, grounded in your three answers, paste-ready
  • +Your top 3 experience bullets, reworded for recruiter search
  • +A keyword-optimized headline built from your own text, not your job title
  • +Your 0–100 visibility score, broken into its four parts
  • +A bracketed blank anywhere you told us nothing — never an invented figure

Your 0–100 score is broken into its four parts too — from the identical scorer the free audit ran, so paying never re-grades you. What $1 changes is the text, not the number.

Three answers — they fill the blanks

These are the only three things we can’t work out from your profile, and each one replaces a [bracketed slot] in your rewrite. Ten seconds each. Skip any of them and we bracket that one instead of inventing it.

Optional, all three. Nothing here is a login and none of it is required to buy.

We ask rather than invent: every answer above replaces a bracketed blank the rewrite would otherwise ship. Three delivered rewrites are published in full, blanks included.

Your rewrite — one line, free

Answer any one of the three questions above and we’ll write one finished line of your actual rewrite here — free, paste-ready, before you pay a penny. The paid review writes the rest the same way: the whole About section, your top 3 bullets and your ranked keywords.

14-day money-back guarantee — no questions asked

Read your rewrite, and if it isn’t worth $1 to you, email standout15@mail.acoco.ai within 14days and we refund the full amount. No reason needed, no form to fill in, nothing to send back — and you keep the rewrites we already gave you.

Two real delivered orders — the headline a travel nurse arrived with next to the one we sent back, and a VP of Engineering bullet as supplied and as delivered — are published word for word, with the blanks they really shipped with.

If checkout drops out we email you a link back — optional, not a signup.

$1 — delivered instantly, no signup, one payment.Your review page opens the second you pay and fills in within minutes. No account, no subscription, nothing recurring.

11/100

Real output from this tool. What our scorer gave a weak sample profile, and the unedited rewrite it got back on 13 August 2026— a sample we wrote, not a customer’s profile.

Not ready to spend anything? Take the example instead. Optional.

Every tool on this page is free with no address needed. If you'd rather see the standard first, we'll email you a genuine before/after run of our own tool — the weak profile, the rewritten headline and the rewritten About section — plus a link back here.

One email. No newsletter and no sharing — reply to it any time and we'll delete your address.

Why most About sections don't work

Two failure modes cover almost everyone. The first is the empty About — left blank or filled with a single line, which throws away the largest piece of searchable text you own. The second is the mission-statement About: warm, well-written, and containing no nouns a recruiter would ever type.

"I'm a passionate problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments" tells a reader nothing and a search filter less. "I'm a data engineer with eight years in fintech, building batch and streaming pipelines in Spark, dbt and Airflow across AWS" says who you are and matches five searches while doing it.

The structure this generator uses

Paragraph one — who you are. Your target role and your experience level, in the first sentence, in plain language. This is the part that appears in previews and the part people actually read.

Paragraphs two and three — what you do, specifically. The tools, platforms, domains and methods you work with, named. This is where the search matches come from, and naming them beats claiming them.

Paragraph four — the invitation. One line telling a recruiter what you're open to and how to start the conversation. Surprisingly often missing.

Where the rewrite wants a number you haven't given it, it leaves a visible placeholder like [X%] rather than inventing a metric. Fill those in yourself — a made-up figure is worse than no figure, and we won't put words in your mouth.

Limits worth stating plainly

This rewrites the text you paste and hands it back for you to copy. It doesn't connect to your LinkedIn account, never asks for your password, and doesn't publish or change anything on your profile. It's not a résumé or PDF editor, and no human reviewer sees your text.

Not sure which keywords to build around? Run the keyword finder for your role first, then come back and paste them in.

About section questions, answered

Is this LinkedIn About section generator free?+

Yes — free, unlimited, no signup and no card. Rewrite it as many times as you like. Everything on this page is free and unlimited, and your 0–100 visibility score is one tap away on /audit with no login, no signup and nothing to fetch from LinkedIn first. The only paid product is the $1 review: a keyword-optimized headline, your whole About section rewritten, your top 3 experience bullets reworded for recruiter search, ranked keywords and your 0–100 score with its four-part breakdown. One payment, no subscription, no account, delivered in minutes, and backed by a 14-day no-questions money-back guarantee.

What if I don't have an About section yet?+

Write two rough lines about what you do and paste those. A blank or thin About is the case where a rewrite moves your visibility score most, because it is the largest block of searchable text on your profile and an empty one throws all of it away.

How long should a LinkedIn About section be?+

Around 140–190 words in three or four short paragraphs is the shape this tool aims for: who you are and the role you're targeting, then two paragraphs naming the tools, platforms and domains you actually work with, then one line inviting a recruiter to get in touch. Long enough to carry keywords, short enough that someone reads it.

Will it invent achievements or numbers I don't have?+

No. Where the rewrite wants a figure you haven't given it, it leaves a visible bracketed placeholder like [X%] for you to fill in. A made-up metric is worse than no metric — it is the one thing that falls apart in an interview — so we won't put words in your mouth.

Can I paste the result straight into LinkedIn?+

Yes. It comes back as plain text with no markdown and no hashtags, with a copy button, sized for LinkedIn's About field. Fill in any bracketed placeholders first, read it once in your own voice, and paste.

What does the $1 rewrite add?+

Your About section is one of four things recruiter search reads. The $1 review also does your headline and your top 3 experience bullets, ranks the keywords recruiters filter on, and scores where you started with a four-part breakdown — the profile in one pass instead of one section.
